A wall construction comprising an inner wall and an outer wall spaced apart from each other, with each wall comprised of a row of horizontal blocks arranged in tiers and secured together by mortar, and ?exible water repellant tubes wedged in the space between said inner wall and outer wall and extended longitudinally of said two walls, said tubes retaining the mortar at said space within the con?nes of a corresponding wall to obstruct the passage of moisture from the out 60 er wall to said inner wall through the mortar.
