opposite sides of the baby, by means of a cross
member M which has depending concaved legs 15
secured by means of screws or the like It to the
inner surfaces of the uprights it’ below the upper

The bottle holding member comprises a rec

This invention relates to a novel and improved
holder for baby nursing bottles, the primary ob
ject of the invention being to provide a holder so
constructed as to eliminate the danger of shak
ing of the baby which is incident to other holders
which retain the nipple in the baby’s mouth after
feeding has ceased.
Another important object of this invention is to
provide a nursing bottle holder wherein means is
provided to hold the bottle flexibly in such a
manner that when the baby stops feeding and
releases the nipple of the bottle, the bottle will
swing so as to carry the nipple upwardly out of
the baby’s mouth, yet within reach of the baby’s
hand so that he can resume feeding when so in
rights, said bar being sufficiently wide at its mid
dle to provide a ?rm rest for the nursing bottle l9.

when the bottle I9 is pushed through the result

A further important object of this invention is
to provide a nursing bottle holder of the character
for purposes of illustration.
In the drawing:

Figure 1 is a side elevation, showing the bottle
tilted in feeding position in full lines, and in re
leased tilted position in dotted lines.
Figure 2 is a transverse Vertical section taken
on the line 2—2 of Figure 3, and
Figure 3 is a left hand end or front elevation of
Figure 2.
Referring to the drawing in detail, the herein
bar l1 and are slanted outwardly and have their
lower ends attached at 24 to the legs l5 of the cross
member I4, so that when the [baby releases the
bottle nipple 25, the bottle will be gently but posi
‘ tively swung upwardly, so that the nipple is with
drawn from the baby’s mouth and the bottle as
' sumes an out-of-the-way but readily reachable
position during an interruption of or at the end
of the baby's feeding, so that there is no danger
of the nipple gagging or choking the baby.
