The present invention relates to a machine for
making containers or can bodies from flat blanks
or sheets and has particular reference to devices
for controlling the actuation of the machine in
accordance with the bringing together of marginal
edge portions of the blanks or sheets to form side
seams for the bodies. This is an improvement
on the can body maker disclosed in United States
Patent 2,169,311, issued August 15, 1939, to M. E.
Widell.
