This invention relates to door locks, and more particularly to a so-called unit door lock similar, for example, to that shown in my prior Patent No. 2,304,612, granted December 8, 1942. In that patent there is disclosed a lock system wherein is provided a case adapted to be used for a number of locks of different types, and various lock parts or elements designed to be interchangeably mounted in the case so that by the use ofthe proper elements or mechanism the desired type of lock could be constructed, mounted in the face plate of the lock, as is usu ally the case with unit-type locks.V One object of the invention is to provide a lock v case which may be employed with any one of ay number of different locks.
