As illustrated in the drawings, my» improved
machine comprises a bed 5 having thereon the
cutting mechanism which includesfeed rollers
6-—-6, for feeding the tape 1. through the machine,
and a suitable tensioning mechanism, as indi
cated generally at‘8, for applying tensionto the
tape, all of which is described in my abovemen
tioned co-pending application.

In the form of my invention which is de
scribed herein, I provide a plurality of, cutters
in. the form of scissors 9 which are carried on a
disk, or frame, In thatis rotatably mounted on a
post ll upon the bed 5 and adjacent to the side
of the tape 1 as it is moved through the ma
chine. A similar set of cutters is mounted on
the other side of the tape ‘I so that both sides of
the tape may be cut at the same time.

This invention relates to cutting machines and
more particularly to machines for cutting Vene
tian blind tape such as clearly described in my co
pending application Serial No. 445,213, ?led May
30, 1942, now Patent No. 2,347,603.
The object of this’ invention is to provide im
proved and further simpli?ed means for cutting
the Venetian blind tape.
