For cooling the tools and the workpiece and for wash
ing away the particles which have been removed from
the center bore by the smoothing operation, a suitable
coolant is conducted to the center points in the conven
tional manner through tubes 37 and 38.
Although our invention has been illustrated and de
scribed with reference to the preferred embodiments there
of, we wish to have it understood that it is in no way
limited to the details of such embodiment, but is capable
of numerous modi?cations Within the scope of the ap
pended claims.
Having thus fully disclosed our invention, what we
