CERTIFIED MEMBERS
Certification
A member camp benefits from the status
of certified camp. This entails recognition
by our Association as a camp in conformity with our Membership Policy and our
Certification Program and standards
(refer to enclosed document). In the eyes
of the public, certification is a guarantee
of quality that contributes to reassuring
parents enrolling their child or children at
camp. The Association promotes the importance of certification among the public. An annual attestation of certification is
issued to a camp on a yearly basis. For
the camp director, both the Membership
Policy and Certification Program are definitive management tools crucial to improving and maintaining quality and
safety standards at camp.
Insurance
All non for profit certified members of the
Association can benefit from the program. Members can also take advantage
of coverage for property, buildings and
vehicles. All non-profit members receive
directors’ and officers’ liability insurance
free of charge and private members
benefit from special rates.
Certified camps magazine
Some 100 000 copies of the magazine are
published and distributed through several
national media and in CLSCs, libraries,
etc. across Quebec. Camps have access
to a detailed grid in the magazine and
the purchase of advertising space.
Promotional section on the website
All certified members have access to a
descriptive grid of each of their camp
program in the promotional section of the
website. Our website is the falling point of
all promotions and publicity put into
place within our annual communications
