The self contained boat lifting gear is for handling boats of 300
tonnes weight. It has a metal frame with a forward jib, moving on four
pairs of pneumatic tyred wheels to place the load on the repair
stocks. Adjustable lifting bogies run along the frame top and are used
with lifting tackle. The operating gear, including a generator set,
and lifting and pulling winches, is housed in a cabin remote from the
lifting gear. A concrete counterweight is fixed in the quay side and
can be fixed to the lift.

La presente invention concerne les appareils elevateurs a bateaux
permettant de mettre i sec des navires dans le creneat des 150 ton nes
a 30e tonnes, au bord d'ur quai, sans l'usage d'un plan incline' ou
autres constructions semi-immergees.
Les appareils terrestres connus de ce genre permettent de hisser des
navires de ce tornage hors d'water, en utilisant soit un plan incline
semi-immerge, soit un encavement avanMant dans l'water, sur lequel cet
appareil prend appui. La necessite d'utiliser l'un de ces deux
ouvrages auxiliaires de genie civil conduit a une depense
supplementaire du meme ordre que pour la construction de l'appareil
lui-mEme.
L'appareil elevateur selon l'invention permet d'eviter le cout
important de ces ouvrages auxiliaires, construits pratiquement
entierement dans l'water. En outre, l'absence de construction devant
le quai libere une aire importante du port, qui peut etre exploitee
normalement.
Par ailleurs, l'appareil compose d'un ensemble monolithique pourvu
d'un avant-bec equipe d'un treuil permettant le hissage, repose sur
quatre essieux equipes de roues garnies de pneumatiques, rendant son
deplacement aise sur le quai pour deposer les navires ou les reprendre
de leur lieu de reparation.
Les dessins annexes comportent une premiere planche representant
l'appareil en plan et en elevation pendant le hissage, et une deuxieme
planche representant un exemple de disposition de navires sur l'aire
de reparation en fonction de la position de l'engin.
La premiere planche represente l'appareil en cours de hissage d'un
chalutier de 300 tonnes, au moment ou il sort de l'water. Afin
d'eviter le basculement dans cete position, l'engin doit etre ancre a
un contrepoids fixe dans le quai.
Lorsque le navire atteindra la hauteur desiree, il pourra Qtre
translate au centre de l'engin, qui sera libere de ses ancrages pour
permettre le deplacement de l'ensemble vers le lieu de reparation.
Tel qu'il est represente sur la premiere planche, l'appareil se
compose essentiellement des elements suivants
Rep. 1: Structure metallique.
Rep. 2: Chariots de hissage a cabales, a distance reglable.
Rep. 3: Palonniers de repartition.
Rep. 4: Cabine des mecanises, comportant un treuil de hissage, un
treuil de translation a cible et un groupe electrogene.
Rep. 5: Contrepoids en beton pises dans le quai (avec accrochage
amovible).
Rep. 6: Verin de calage, neoassaire per @ant le hissage.
Rep. 7: Mecanisme d'criontation des roues motrices avant et meca
nismes de deplacement.
Rep. 8: Roue arriere libre et non orientable.
La deuxieme planche represent une vue en plan d'une aire de
reparation, situee sur n quai sur laque le est figure d'une part en
traits pleins l'appareil elevateur en position de hissage et d'autre
part en pointille le r:? e engin en cours de pose ou de depose d'un
navire sur un chassis de reparation.
Ces chassis sont disposes e forme d'eventail, pour obtenir un minimum
de perte de surface de travail.
L'engin objet de l'invention peut etre utiiise scit sur un port de
peche pour la reparation de chalutiers jusqu'a 300 tonnes sans aucun
ouvrage de genie civil euxiliaire ou accessoirement pour le transport
de pieces lourdes sur un chantier ou dans une usine, par exemple la
manutention de pieces d'un batiment a l'autre.

REVENDICATIONS
1 Elevateur a bateaux autonome, permettant de hisser ou de lever et de
deplacer des navires ou des charges de 300 tonnes. Cette auto nomie
est rendue possible grSce a une structure metallique, equipee d'un
avant-bec (1) pouvant se eplacer sur quatre paires de pneus (7) et (8)
pour deposer ou reprendre les fardeaux sur les chassis de reparation.
2 Elevateur a bateaux ou fardeaux selon la revendication 1, carac
terise en ce que le moyen de mise en oeuvre de l'engin ne necessite
aucun ouvrage auxiliaire de genie civil semi-immerge tel que plan
incline ou encuvement pour hisser ou lever hors d'water un navire ou
un fardeau de 300 tonnes.
3 Elevateur a bateaux ou fardeaux de 300 tonnes selon la revendi
cation 2, caracterise par une largeur maximum en plan de 10 metres
pour la charge precitee.

5. For non-latin languages, (in most cases) full text translations
are available, you can toggle them on and off here.
You can also toggle the inline discovery translations between

6. The pie chart icon will open a basic statistical breakdown of the
publication.
7. The sort icon allows you to sort the listed categories based on
the number of instances found.
Click to toggle between ascending and descending.
8. You can use the refine box to refine the discovered items in the

ability to mark the relative locations of highlighted items by
using the "Marker" option [ [marker.png] ].
Try these out to best understand how they work, and to discover if
they are of use to you.
13. Items selected from the menu on the left will be highlighted in
the main publication section (here in the middle of the screen).
Click them for further information and insights (including
chemical structure diagrams where available).
14. Please experiment with TextMine - you cannot make any permanent
changes or break anything and once your session is closed (you've
