the Center and Middle Volga Power Systems.
 1958-1978 – connection of PS of Urals (1958), PS of South
(now Ukraine, Moldova) (1962), PS of North-West (1966), PS
of North Caucasus (1969), PS of Kazakhstan and PS of
Siberia (1978).
 1979-1993 – Commissioning of 750 kV OHL: USSRHungary, USSR-Poland (1984), USSR- Romania (1986),
Bulgaria-Romania (1987).
 1993 – Formation of the intergovernmental Power Union of
the CIS and Baltic Countries
