GTU-4PG Industrial Gas Turbine
GTU-4PG gas turbine with M-45PHG step-up gear is used as a
mechanical drive of centrifugal natural gas compressors in "Ural"
GPA-4PHG gas turbine pumping packages of underground gas
storages. The gas turbine is suitable for operation under moderate
and cold climate conditions.
The core of the gas turbine is the D-30EU-2 gas turbine engine
developed on the basis of the D-30 III Series aero-engine. M-45PHG
step-up gear matches the power turbine speed (7014 rpm) and
mechanical drive shaft nominal speed (14000 rpm).M-45PHG step-up
gear makes it possible to optimize the parameters of a gas turbine
pumping package.
The first gas turbine has been installed at Kasimovskaya
compressor station of Mostransgaz. It is currently in experimental
commercial operation in "Ural" GPA-4PHG gas pumping package.

GTU-6PG Industrial Gas Turbine Engine
The updated GTU-6PG gas turbine with M-60 step-up gear was
developed as a mechanical drive for centrifugal compressors
used in gas turbine pumping packages.
M-60 step-up gear makes it possible to optimize the parameters
of a gas turbine pumping package.
In 2006 the first gas turbine was installed at Myldzhinskoe gascompressor field of Tomskgazprom. The gas turbine is
currently in pilot operation in "Ural" GPA-6DKS gas pumping
packaged unit.
The gas turbine is also used as part of "Ural-6000"gas turbine
pumping package, which was delivered to the Booster Station2 within the Sakhalin-2 Project.

GTU-10P Industrial Gas Turbine Engine
GTU-10P industrial gas turbine is based on GTU-12P gas
turbines and is used in the packaged modular gas pumping
units, in gas boost compressor stations (BCS), and stations of
underground gas storage (UGS), and in particular in GPA-10
BCS "Ural" and GPA-10 UGS "Ural" manufactured by Iskra, and
also, for retrofitting the existing GPA-C-6,3 packages and
others.
The distinctive feature of the design are a high-speed power
turbine that contributes to high efficiency of a gas compressor
and a gas generator unified with GTU-12P gas turbine. The gas
turbine inherited all advantages of GTU-12P.

GTU-12P Industrial Gas Turbine Engine
GTU-12P gas turbine is used as a mechanical drive of a centrifugal
natural gas compressor in gas turbine pumping packages. GTU-12P
has been successfully proven in service at Russian gas pumping
stations. It is operated as part of "Ural" GPA-12 packaged modular gas
pumping unite manufactured by Iskra and is used to retrofit the existing
gas pumping packages such as GTK-10, GPA-C-16 and some others.
GTU-12P core is the PS-90GP-1 gas turbine engine based on the PS90А aircraft engine, the only one Russian fourth generation civil
aviation engine with International Type Certificate.

GTU-16P Industrial Gas Turbine Engine
GTU-16P gas turbine has been designed on the basis of the
gas generator of the high performance PS-90 aircraft engine
and GTU-12P gas turbine.
The gas turbine has higher cycle parameters (utilization of 14stage compressor) and has a power turbine adapted to the
existing gas turbine pumping packages.
The gas turbine is used in the GPA-16 "Ural" packaged
modular-type gas pumping units manufactured by Iskra, and
for the reconstruction of the existing gas turbine pumping sets,
such as GTK-10, GPA-C-16, GPU-16, GPU-10 and others.
GTU-16P gas turbines have perfectly promoted themselves
while running at gas compressor stations of Russia.
It is unified and completely interchangeable with GTU-12P gas
turbine, and inherits all the advantages and merits of the latter.

GTU-25P Industrial Gas Turbine Engine
Among Perm gas turbines GTU-25P has got the highest power
rated at 25 MW. It is intended to drive gas compressors in newgeneration gas compressor packages, and to pump gas into
underground gas storage.
GTU-25P is based on the PS-90GP-25 gas turbine engine,
which is an industrial derivative of the high efficiency PS-90A
aero engine incorporating as well GTU-12P and GTU-16P gas
turbine components.
The engine consists of:
two-shaft gas turbine gas generator module;
power turbine module.
The engine and power turbine located on the common engine
mount are installed on the gas compressor package skid.

NK-12ST Industrial Gas Turbine Engine
The engine NK-12 ST is the first gas- turbine engine of the
aviation type created in 1974 for the gas industry on the base of
the aircraft turboprop engine NK-12 MV, which was installed on
the
aircrafts
TU-95,
TU-114,
AN-22
and
other.
The engine NK-12ST has a high degree of the reliability and
economy in the operation. The output of the gas-pumping units
with this engine is 11 million m3 of the gas in twenty-four hours.
About 2000 engines were manufactured during the series
production. Their total operating time made up about 40 000
hours.
The engines are operated at more than 100 compressor stations
as part of the more 800 gas-pumping units. These engines
showed they-selves to the best advantage during their operation.
At present time the plant prepared the substitution for the engine
NK-12ST and began the production of more perfect engine NK14ST.

NK-14ST Industrial Gas Turbine Engine
The engine NK-14ST is designed by order of GAZPROM as a
modification of the engine NK-12ST. This engine is created on the
base of the engine NK-12ST and is completely interchangeable
with it. The engine has improved general performance data.
The change of the combustion chamber, turbo-compressor
turbine, main and free turbines resulted in engine power and
efficiency increase.
The engine NK-14ST combines the great experience of NK-14ST
engine operation and new achievements in the field of the aircraft
engine manufacturing. It is distinguished by high reliability,
simplicity in the maintenance, improved technical and ecological
data, high efficiency.
To date, we can manufacture an modified engine NK-14ST with
regenerative cycle, increasing the engine efficiency up to 41.5%.

The main kinds of the drive in the range of GPU of gas
transportation system of Russia are gas turbine sets.
The analysis of the operating indices of GPU with gas turbine
drive at the compressor stations shows that the most part of
them has worked their motor life ( 100 000 hours), physically
weared out and morally became obsolete. The efficiency of
the units range is on the level of 20… 21% at power 0.8 ..0.9
from the nominal value.
In this connection during the reconstruction of the operating
compressor stations there is question about the installation
of the modern gas turbine engines with efficiency more 33%.
With the great overhaul life and high reliability.
The variant of GTK-10-4, GPU- TS- 10B, GPS -10 serial engine
substitution as worked out the life for NK-14ST-10 engine was
considered.
The leading development engineer of NK-14ST-10 engine is
JSC Samara Design bureau of machine building (Samara).
The leading supplier of the Gas turbine complex -10-4 is JSC
Motorostroitel (Samara).

The engine NK-36ST is created on the base of the production
aircraft engine NK-32. It combines the last achievements in the
field of the aircraft engine manufacturing and the great
experience in the operation of the engines NK-12ST, NK-14ST
on the cross-country gas pipelines.
The engine NK-36ST id distinguished by the high reliability in
the operation, high efficiency, the improved technical data.
The
level
of
the
emission
3
NOx is reduced up to 120 mg/m on the engine
NK-36ST. This is less than the norm (150 mg/m3).
The systems of the tolerance, of the control, of the protection
and of the alarm, which secure the automatic starting,
detection of the faults and parameters deviations at the
operating engine are provided for the this engine. In addition,
the anti-icing system, which permits to operate at the nonfavorable atmospheric conditions is also provided for it.
The modular construction of the engine permits to carry it by
any kind of the transport, to make the replacement of the
modules in the conditions of the compressor station.
The gas-pumping unit with the engines NK-36 operates
successfully at Tolyatti gas compressor station and has good
operation data at the high degree of the reliability.

GTP-1,25 and GTP-2,5 Industrial Gas Turbine Engines
GTP industrial power units (power class from 1,25 to 2,5
MW) are developed and produced on the basis of TV2117, TV3-117, GTD-1250 and other Klimov’s engines.
These units are designed to operate as power station
modules (electrical and thermal electrical stations, pump
stations, compressor stations etc.).
The GTP power units are highly reliable, whether running
on natural gas, associated gas, diesel fuel, gasoline,
kerosene or their mixtures in any proportion. Depending
on the required power output, the unit consists of one or
two engines and a gearbox mounted on a common frame
together with the necessary auxiliary equipment.
These industrial power units may also be installed on a
variety of means of transportation (heavy dump trucks,
locomotives, marine and river speed boats, hovercraft).
